Eco-friendly compressed wood briquettes, good for open fires and wood-burning stoves, very economical and are environmentally friendly.
Wood briquettes (heat logs or eco logs) are a wood fuel made from of dry, untreated wood chips. They are made by compressing wood in specialist machines under many tonnes of pressure.
These briquettes are great fuel for heating a home because they are cheaper, burn hotter, and have less smoke and ash after burning out. Wood briquettes have less than 10% of moisture and deliver around 50% more heat for each pound spent than logs. They can be broken into smaller parts for smaller stoves and they are easy to store until they are kept at a dry place. Don’t hesitate to mix them with logs or to burn them by themselves.
Wood briquettes can be made of hardwood, softwood and mixture of both. Hardwood ones will burn longer because of their density and can be stored in many shapes and sizes, from 5kg to big pallets of briquettes.
